For Saturday 9 October, the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra has made programme of Czech and German classical music. They have invited outstanding soloists.

The recording of last year's concert by Tomáš Sýkora is now released on CD. Songs for Orchestra is a tribute to his long-time teacher and friend Karel Růžička.

Dear fans of classical music, today's concert from Studio 1 is cancelled.

The next PRSO concert to be broadcast live from Studio 1 will be borne on a wave of music from the 20th century.

Jean-Guihen Queyras, will travel to Prague despite the complicated circumstances and during the evening of 19 April he will perform two compositions.

Baroque trumpet music and a classic work from the clarinet repertoire will delight listeners and viewers of a live concert broadcast the PRSO is preparing for Mon 12 April.
