A Flight Through the World of Musicals with the Musical Express Concert
Join us at the Forum Karlín on Wednesday, 22 October 2025 for an evening of music, where you can experience Sunset Boulevard, Moulin Rouge and the Vampire Ball.
Dracula and Joan of Arc will also be in attendance. The lead vocal roles will be performed by Monika Absolonová, Václav Noid Bárta and Michaela Gemrotová Štiková.
Musical Express is a radio programme broadcast on Czech Radio. In it, presenters Michael Prostějovský and Pavel Bár share news about musical events at home and abroad, as well as new and archive recordings, behind-the-scenes insights, and interviews. Broadcast for over 30 years, it is the only musical magazine on the Czech airwaves. In collaboration with the programme, the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra has prepared a one of the premium concerts to be performed at the start of the next concert season.
One evening, you can enjoy melodies from famous Czech and international musicals, including The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, Jesus Christ Superstar, Elisabeth and Oliver! Guided by well-known musical stars and accompanied by radio symphony musicians and the Czech Radio Children's Choir, the evening will be directed by Jakub Žídek.
