Solo for Bassoon, Trombone and Trumpet
The music of Bratislava native and Beethoven's contemporary Johann Nepomuk Hummel frames this concert dedicated to wind instruments.
Po Hummelově předehře citující hymnu Spojeného království zahrál vítěz soutěže Concertino Praga, mladý fagotista Adam Plšek, koncert Carla Marii von Webera.
Following Hummel's overture, which quotes the anthem of Great Britain, the winner of the Concertino Praga competition, young bassoonist Adam Plšek, played a concerto by Carl Maria von Weber.
Afterwards the initiative was taken by two members of the Radio Symphony Orchestra – trombonist Pavel Čermák presented the Trombone Concerto by Leopold Mozart and Marek Zvolánek closed out the whole programme with one of the most popular concertos in the trumpet literature.
