This spoken-word programme combines musical compositions and poems by the important Czech poets Seifert and Čapek. The culmination of the concert will be the melodrama Proverbs of Solomon. Its author is Tomáš Ille, who has dedicated it directly to the Czech Radio Trio. You will hear music and poetry presented by the Czech Radio Trio and actor Svatopluk Schuller.
The Czech Radio Trio was founded by members of the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra. Oboist Lukáš Pavlíček is artistic director. This chamber ensemble regularly records for radio and performs live on air. The trio also performs at private and public events in the Czech Republic and abroad (Japan, Germany, Austria, etc.) and enjoys great popularity with the public.
The concert will be broadcast live on the Czech Radio D-dur programme.
