The concert Above Us will feature the world premiere of a new composition commissioned by the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra. This cycle of spiritual songs connects various musical worlds and touches on profound spiritual themes. Under the baton of conductor Bastien Stil, the performers will include Chaazi Levíček (mezzo-soprano, piano), Jiří Levíček (organ), and Michael League (guitars).

Michael League is a guitarist and composer known for his musical versatility and innovative approach to music. As a founding member and bassist of the acclaimed group Snarky Puppy, he has earned international recognition for his unique style blending elements of jazz, rock, and world music. His guitar playing is distinguished by precision, creative use of harmony and rhythm, and an impressive ability to connect with fellow musicians on stage.

The Czech Radio Children’s Choir, led by Věra Hrdinková, will enrich the concert with the unmistakable sound of children’s voices, bringing a sense of freshness, hope, and purity. The combination of solo and choral parts with instrumental accompaniment promises a truly exceptional musical experience, full of emotion and spiritual depth.
