Gabriela Montero and the radio symphony orchestra performed one of the most popular works of classical music of all time, the melodic Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 1 in B-flat minor by Russian romantic composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. This concert is one of the most popular musical compositions of all time. It was made in the mid-1870s and was inspired by the pianist Nikolai Rubinstein. This famous composition was an opportunity for us to meet with the brilliant Venezuelan pianist (as well as composer) Gabriela Montero, who thanks to her exceptional musical talent, visionary playing and unique capacity for improvisation has earned the praise of critics, the devotion of audiences and prized recognition.
