On Monday, May 19, 2025, at 8:00 PM, Forum Karlín will host a unique musical collaboration. The Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Jan Kučera, will join forces with the band Chinaski to present their greatest hits in symphonic arrangements.
For three decades, Chinaski has been one of the most prominent names on the Czech music scene. Their melodies resonate across generations—be it energetic rock hits, melancholic ballads, or playful songs with the unmistakable lyrics of Michal Malátný. In collaboration with the orchestra, their compositions will gain a new dimension—symphonic arrangements, rich harmonies, and the power of a large musical ensemble.
The orchestral arrangements are crafted by the band's keyboardist and producer, Jan Steinsdörfer. The audience can thus look forward to an extraordinary musical experience, where rock energy intertwines with the elegance of symphonic sound.
