I come from Mariánské Lázně and studied at the Conservatory in Plzeň, where I briefly performed with the opera orchestra and the Plzeň Radio Orchestra. I then spent four years playing with the North Bohemian Philharmonic in Teplice. This April, I will begin my 28th season with the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, where I play the violin and serve as the orchestra’s third concertmaster.
What instrument do I play?
I play an approximately 200-year-old instrument of unknown origin.
What was my childhood dream?
If I had not become a musician, I might have pursued a career or some other activity in the automotive field.
What do I enjoy?
I have a broad interest in culture. I enjoy reading, watching historical documentaries and occasionally cooking. However, given my busy work schedule, I do not have much time for these hobbies. My greatest form of relaxation is taking a seaside holiday at least once a year.
