PRSO to visit Pardubice

12. únor 2013

Since its foundation in 1969, the Czech Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Pardubice has ranked among the leading Czech orchestras. Since 2009 it has been led by Marko Ivanović. The orchestra’s chief conductor does his best to present rarely heard works, does not neglect cross-genre projects and has as a concert protagonist won marked popularity with children and young people.

The new series “We Have Guests” has in the current season brought to Pardubice the likes of soprano Eva Urbanová. The next guests will be the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra (PRSO), its principal conductor Ondrej Lenárd and pianist Jan Simon. The Pardubice audience can look forward to seeing them on Tuesday 5 March from 19:30 at the Suk Hall of the Dům hudby.

Programme:
Maurice Ravel: Bolero
Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky: Concerto for Piano and Orchestra no. 1 in B-flat minor, op. 23
