Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra
Many renowned musicians will perform at the Innsbruck “Meisterkonzerte” in the 2012/2013 season. These include Yuri Tyemirkanov with the St Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France with pianist Ivo Pogorelich and the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra with its principal conductor Jonathan Nott and violinist Alina Pogostkina. On Wednesday 14 November they will be joined by the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, conductor Leoš Svárovský and baritone Roman Janál.
That evening they will perform only pieces by Antonín Dvořák, the “My Home” overture, Biblical Songs and the 8th symphony in G major (“the English symphony”).
The concert will be held in the impressive hexagonal “Tirol” hall of the Congress Centre with an audience capacity of 1,500.
