PRSO set for three concerts in Germany

At the end of October, the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra (PRSO), along with violinist Benjamin Schmid and conductor Daniel Raiskin, will perform pieces by Carl Maria von Weber, Johannes Brahms and Antonín Dvořák for German audiences in the cities of Tübingen, Kempten and Cologne.

The first of those concerts will take place on 26 October at the University of Tübingen, which has been organising classical music concerts for over half a century. The ceremonial hall of its Neue Aula building has a capacity of 920 and boasts excellent acoustics.

A day later, season-ticket holders for the “Master Concerts” series can look forward to the same programme at the Municipal Theatre in Kempten. The tour culminates on 28 October at one of Europe’s preeminent concert halls, the Cologne Philharmonic, which can house an audience of 2,200.
