Litomyšl to enjoy greatest symphonic trifles conducted by Pešek

The close of the 54th Smetana’s Litomyšl International Opera Festival 2012 on Sunday 8 July at 18:00 will comprise a great solo for the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra (PRSO) which, conducted by Libor Pešek, will perform a selection of the most popular melodies in classical music. The festival will culminate with an exceptional rendition of Tchaikovsky’s Festival Overture 1812, which is traditionally accompanied by synchronised cannon fire.
