Marcel Bárta, Jakub Zitko, Aneta Langerová, and Dorota Barová with PRSO at DOX
The Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra is preparing a unique musical project on February 14, 2025, at the DOX Center.
This exceptional evening will bring together two great musicians and composers, Marcel Bárta and Jakub Zitko. Additionally, rare guests will join the bands of both frontmen. For this special occasion, Jakub Zitko has surrounded himself with outstanding instrumentalists. In addition to him, the band features guitarist Jiří Šimek, bassist Miloš Klápště, and drummers Daniel Šoltis and Martin Kopřiva. This ensemble promises original rhythmic patterns, energetic grooves, and live imitation of electronic beats, created with the help of acoustic objects: metals, wood, and crumpled fabrics. Jakub Zitko makes extensive use of sound samples, and the sound is further enhanced by the electronically processed guitar of Jiří Šimek.
As special guests, Jakub Zitko has invited two prominent artists from the contemporary music scene, Aneta Langerová and Dorota Barová, who will bring his songs to life with their voices. Both singers possess charismatic voices, emotional delivery, and excellent vocal technique, and they will alternate leading the main and backing vocals.
In Marcel Bárta's band, trombonist Štěpán Janoušek and pianist Vojtěch Procházka will also perform. Don't miss this opportunity to be part of a musical evening that will offer not only precise musical performances but also a space for deep emotional connection.
