Japan Tour 2024

After five long years, the Prague Radio symphony Orchestra are going on a foreign tour. This time they are heading to Japan, where they will be accompanied by the chief conductor Petr Popelka. Together, they will offer the Japanese audience Smetana's cycle of symphonic poems Má vlast, Dvořák's New World Symphony and his cello and violin concerto. The orchestra will visit 6 cities, including Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya and will play 7 concerts in the most famous halls, such as Tokyo's Suntory Hall or Osaka's Symphony Hall. Cellist Haruma Sato and violinist Fumiaki Miura will also perform alongside them.
