One week later, a different violin concerto will resound in the Rudolfinum. The Czech premiere of a work by Czech composer Ondřej Adámek will be performed.

Adámek is currently one of the few Czech composers whose works are played by major orchestras around the world. His Violin Concerto will be performed with the PRSO by world-renowned violinist Christian Tetzlaff, promising an outstanding musical experience. The programme will be complemented by Alexander Zemlinsky’s symphonic poem The Mermaid.
