Bedřich Smetana: Vyšehrad (My Fatherland)

The 97th season of the Radio Symphonies ended in big style. The orchestra under the leadership of chief conductor Petr Popelka said goodbye to the audience with a performance of the complete cycle of symphonic poems My Fatherland by Bedřich Smetana. In the year when the whole world commemorated the 200th anniversary of the birth of the composer, considered one of the fathers of Czech music.
